hear ye, hear ye

I don't want anyone to accuse me of not sharing news, so here's the rundown:

Housing: I will move out of my current rental house on April 29. I will eventually live with Trav & Aimee in Flower Mound while I decide on my next move. For reasons stated below, I don't think I'll last very long in FM...

Work: I will be starting a new job on May 1 at Coremark. More money, better benefits, more stability and advancement opportunities. I'll be working for an old VP from Bindley/Cardinal, doing more or less the same thing I do at Soitis. It will be far less glamourous, though, as I will be trading Gatorade and Slim Jims instead of drugs. The office is in South Fort Worth, which means I need to move further west and/or south. Keller, maybe. I'll hopefully buy a house.

Church: I was called as the RS president of my ward a few weeks ago. I have two great counselors and a great secretary and am just trying to stay above water and not mess up my ward too badly at this point!

Matt: We bought plane tickets this week to go to Nampa for a weekend in May. Yes, I'm meeting the fam. We have lots of fun stuff planned for that weekend. No, we're not engaged, so don't ask. I'll keep everyone updated.

Other: I'm going to Chicago June 16-18 with Lisa to visit Stef; I'm buying tickets this weekend for Wicked: April 2007 because I love it that much; I'll be better about updating here because I think it's an awesome idea for us all to keep up with each others' lives. Thanks Meggs for setting this up!
