I really miss having a pool. Back when my classmates thought I wasn't white. Back when mom and dad joked that I was a fish. Back when my hair would turn gold at the ends. Back when mom would swim with us...
The kiddie pool we've got now is great and all, but it just doesn't really compare.

I miss the pool! I miss people thinking I'm not white too! And I don't even have one at my new place. :(
