For Travis...

Well, it appears that there is a new era of LAL vs. BOS. The days of short shorts are long gone. (Thank you John Stockton for retiring). The Magic no-look pass is gone along with Kareem's sky hook. No more Danny Ainge, Larry Bird, Robert Parish, or Kevin McHale. We will miss James Worthy's bug eye goggles.
We are welcoming the new era of basketball. Long shorts, tights, and the shooting sleeve. We can't forget that you can't buy love, but you can buy forgiveness with a $2 million diamond ring and a messed up butterfly tatoo on your arm.
You can welcome the quasi Yankees of basketball. Boston bought their team, but with all the money they spent they actually won. We can only hope that the Memphis Grizzlies somehow turn their season around and play the Chicago Bulls for the chamionship.

Now the point of this whole thing. LA beat Boston to end their winning streak at 19 games. As much as I dislike the current Lakers, it dislike the Celtics more. They can't even say their name right. Enough rambling. Give me the glory days of Rambis vs. McHale. The days when a foul was legitimate and not because somebody breathed on you.
