La Familia Estraton

Hello Party People and the Place to be:

"CONFESSION OF AN ADDICT"

Unfortunately, I do not have any pictures to post - probably wouldn't know how to do it anyway - but I just wanted to go on record that riding ATV's is better than I ever expected. I will admit that, so far, that I like riding in the sand dunes and up Hobble Creek Canyon... but anywhere will do.

Yesterday Justin, Bryant Wilson (Bobby's Flynn's son-in-law) and I went up to Tibble Fork. It is only about 20 minutes from our front door. I think all of Utah County was there but we still found plenty of room to ride. One thing about the rides in the mountains is that the scenery is breath taking. We only rode for a couple of hours (hardly can be counted as a fix and definitely not a ride)- still get the machines as dirty(confess that I am there to ride and if they get muddy and dirty... asi es el fotbol.) as a longer ride and just as long to clean them up. You know the rules, "if you want to ride again, you will clean the machine".

There were several water crossings - one that we crossed, just because it was there. I was first through it and it was a bit surprising as it was probably18" to 24" inches deep in the deepest part. I got my feet wet - nice thing about the expensive riding pants ($10 closeout specials) is that they repel water - and that was about it. When we crossed back, I noticed that Justin's back was soaked. Rather than bore you with the details, everyone can ask him why?

Mom hasn't been out to ride yet. She has a sore shoulder and wants to wait until it doesn't bother her so she doesn't tweak it more.

Hopefully there will be regular posts to the blog from other riding experiences. Hint Hint - for those that don't get the subtle hint - That is a direct invitation to come and ride with me - after all we do have two "awesome machines!!!!!!!
