Clutching, quilting and jam making

Si, familia, I am quite the amazing person. I managed to participate in all the above activities in one day. I began my morning on a beautiful ride, clutching up Squaw Peak with Pops. The views are amazing, the terrain is the best I have ridden on, and I managed to not vomit after feeling sick the entire ride up. Pops chased poor Bambi off the trail. His only complaint was that the trail was so rocky so he couldn't actually catch up to him. (I don't know what he was going to do when or if he did catch up to the poor, defenseless baby deer.) And, I did get to see Pops do some amazing jumps. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera, so there will be no posted pictures.

After Pops returned me to my home, I showered and headed up to Alpine to clean the machines (I do want to ride them again) hang out at quilt camp and make some jam. So, I didn't actually do any quilting, but I did look at books and the fabric that was purchased which seems that pretty much that is all that has been done at quilt camp this week.

I picked a bushel of apricots off the lovely tree growing (and producing a plethora of fruit) in the backyard. The plan was to make one batch of apricot jam to give to a few of my friends. However, there was plenty of fruit to make a second batch of jam and so that is what happened. For those who are interested in partaking of the very delicious apricot jam, I suggest you be extremely kind to mom and me and perhaps we will be willing to share.

P.S. If you want to know about quilt camp, you will have to convince mom to blog about it!!
